GazzyB
Would there be a ferry to Iceland, or is that a totally ridiculous suggestion?
Welldel
would be the most epensive 2 day trip known to man and thats without taking kids
numpty
Is Iceland a summer or winter league nation? Summer, they've played 8 games already. Our opponents sit second in the league, but lost their last game 3-2 at home: http://www.soccerway.com/national/iceland/...regular-season/ Correction, they won their last game 4-2 away... 3-2 loss was previous game. Neil
They are the yo-yo side of the Icelandic league, they really shouldn't cause too much of a problem albeit they are sitting second just now after 8 games.
Finlay
so are we at home for the first leg? Would appear so. I had taken 21st, 22nd, and 23rd off work as I thought we would be at home first. Iceland, geographically isn't the worst, but I'd imagine I have been priced out of going. Shame.
ONeils40yarder
You in a bad mood as Mandy won't let you go to Iceland? You know that I'm in charge. Unfortunately, I am fucking skint and there is no cheap way of getting to Iceland - hopefully we get through and get a more accessible draw in the next round. CoF
Industrial town of around 30,000 on the outskirts of the main city in the area. Sound familiar? Yup, in an area blighted by the sectarian rivalry between norse pagans and wannabe vikings. Sound familiar?

The fact they could be nearly a third of the way through their domestic season by the time we play them is a wee bit concerning. Thankfully the players are back a week today and have the three friendlies beforehand.
Rickoza
Icelandic League They've produced the Icelandic young player of the year two years running now. Won't be a skoosh.
brisbaneMFC
Short of a club charter or nicking a boat and sailing, can't see it. Expensive trip, very expensive place.
daver
Hafnyarfjordur or however you spell it? They come from Kópavogur in the outskirts of Reykjavik. Supposedly they are known as UBK Kopavogur when playing in European competitions. Basically I've just looked up Wikipedia.
Wellfan1984
Sad thing is I doubt any of us who don't go will be able to see the game, unless the streaming sites have an Icelandic channel. Doubt any British company will even entertain the thought of going there.
Lobey_Dosser
Regardless of the quality they possess, they are going to be miles ahead of us in terms of match sharpness.

nethertonwellfan
Right I have found the Cheapest way to do it. Megabus to London Victoria - leaving at 2300 on July 20th Arriving 0705 21st.n = £11 Plane from London Gatwick to Reykjavik leaving at 1310 on 21st arriving at 1520. Retrn flight - Departs 0700 arriving in Gatwick at 1055 = £223.50 Megabus from London Victoria to Glasgo Buchannan leaving 1200 arriving at 2200 there is also a 1700 arriving at 0225 option or 2345 arriving at 0750 option - all options £11 So there you go to Reykjavik and back for £245.50 then whatever it costs for travel and board when you are there. Basically I've just looked up Wikipedia. I remember St Mirren entering under 'Paisley St Mirren' when they played in the Cup Winners Cup a few years back. WellLee
Absolutely gutted! Too expensive to go with the children too! Oh well, suppose this means I can keep my money for the next round when we go through and play in an easily accessible place!!!
