CoF
For some reason I always thought ticket allocation was 5% minimum for away fans in Europe. According to this that's the max they need to give us... Motherwell fans get 93 briefs for Euro tie (don't panic, it's Evening Times speculation)
Guest 'Flow
Don't worry folks, positive talks with the Icelanders and they're going to sort out basically and 'Well fan that wants to go! The ET have just taken their seated area (which, technically, is all you're allowed to use in European competition), worked out 5% (and you're right c_o_f, it is minimum not maximum) and came up with 93! However, as I've said, we've already had good, positive, friendly talks and I am sure any 'Well fan that wants to go will get a ticket! Cheers 'Flow
Frazzie
If 5% of their ground is 93 seats, then that means it only holds 1860! This place is going to be a wee midden. I'm hedging my bets and not even thinking about booking up until after the 1st leg.
Steve Diggle
It holds about 5K but has 1900 seats. Rickoza posted a good link to photos of in and around the ground - looks pretty neat and tidy
Frazzie
So how does 5% only equate to 93 folk? 5% of 5000 is 250 which will probably be about right for the 'Well.

Rickoza
About 5 or 6km according to Google maps (I think the terminal is on the Eastern side of the airport). Do a get directions from Reykjavik Airport, Iceland to Dalsmari, Iceland.

Finlay
For those that are going independently how are you getting to and from the ground (back to Reykjavik) before and after the game? Only thing that concerns me.

brisbaneMFC
the only way to get about there is coaches. They'll be waiting at the airport most likely. Another thing you do not want to miss on arrivals is the duty free - buy a crate of Viking or whatever it was called, save a packet.

Rickoza
Keflavik Airport is 48 Km from the ground, the city itself has an airport which is about 5 km from the ground. Depends where the plane lands I guess, though Keflavik is the international airport. Any diverted flights (due to weather) from Keflavik land at Reykjavik, so it could be used to land at I guess. brisbaneMFC
Right Well, demolish this Icelandic mob so I can get a trip to Brugges (with any luck).
Finlay
Now going to Iceland, (hopefully) missing out on the away leg in the 3rd round and (hopefully) will now catch the away game in the Play Off Round. Obviously a LOT could go wrong with this plan

marcC
The good thing is that Motherwell belongs to the seeted Teams, so if we reach the next round, we will get to play against an opponent that we are really able to beat.
Welldaft Mk1
Well that is as maybe. But noticed the following.....as we are bottom seeds in qualifying round 3 - does that mean we would become unseeded and therefore could play a househaold name if we beat the Icelanders?????? Unknown seeding Winners of match involving Cyprus Anorthosis_Famagusta_FC * Winners of match involving Denmark Randers_FC * Winners of match involving Sweden Kalmar_FF * Switzerland FC_Luzern Winners of match involving Switzerland FC_Lausanne-Sport "If Anorthosis and Randers advance from the first qualifying round, they will be seeded in the third qualifying round."
