Finlay
NWF's £245 return trip price is not bad.............although I have more faith in easyjet than megabus. Wouldnae fancy that all night bus down to London. You'll be 'sleeping' with a knife for sure.

I think we will be lucky to take 100 people to this. Most will be hoping for another go in the 3rd qualifying round.
Motherwell Football Club
Been saying we would get an Icelandic team for weeks now. Definitely won't be going.
milo
I won't make this one due to it being far too expensive for a 2-3 day holiday. Hopefully we'll beat them and get a more accessible destination in the next round.
Wellfan92
I'm going to wait untill the 16th of july (third round draw) to decide if im going as we might end up with a tie close to home but if we get a tie that more expensive in that round im going to iceland. Infamous Wee Grafter
I'll decide tomorrow once the game is confirmed as 22nd July - i agree that it's going to be around £600 plus no KLM free booze Can we go Lynda, can we, can we?? Finlay
Club charter would need to be a decent price for me to attend this. IIRC Bucharest was £600 so looking unlikely. I'll look forward to the home leg though. I doubt it will be switched. Playing at home first suits us as we will be a week fitter and sharper in the second leg, as well as having a better understanding of the opposition, and a better chance at nicking an away goal (or two)

Yes, we can go but the money will have to come out of the garden budget!! Either that, or the honeymoon funds!!

Jay
Won't be going as I can't afford the both the cash or the holidays after booking everything for Lithuania & Czech Republic, but I'd recommend Iceland to anyone thinking about it (assuming you can afford £10 for a double vodka). I fell a little bit in love with Reykjavik. But aye, far too expensive a place but a cracking country all the same.

nethertonwellfan
Any chance you could shed some more light on this deal?Where you flying from dates etc? Sounds a good deal! See my earlier post for a cheap deal if you fancy a detour. I think it is worth it if you want to stay for a couple of days. Personally I prefer the club's charter idea. Edit: if you can't be bothered looking this is what I posted! Right I have found the Cheapest way to do it. Megabus to London Victoria - leaving at 2300 on July 20th Arriving 0705 21st.n = £11 Plane from London Gatwick to Reykjavik leaving at 1310 on 21st arriving at 1520. Retrn flight - Departs 0700 arriving in Gatwick at 1055 = £223.50 Megabus from London Victoria to Glasgo Buchannan leaving 1200 arriving at 2200 there is also a 1700 arriving at 0225 option or 2345 arriving at 0750 option - all options £11 So there you go to Reykjavik and back for £245.50 then whatever it costs for travel and board when you are there. Shallow Dave
My passport runs out in November . Does anyone know if this will be ok ? I know some countries ask for a passport to be valid for 6 months. Only three months validity required, as per the Foreign & Commonwealth Office travel advice: http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/travel-and-living.../europe/iceland SD

It's one less thing I need to do then so frees up some more funds in the short term. Cheers
