marty
we would be qualifying by our league position of 5th mate. mon the united. Â Exactly Craig. Â Sometimes i wonder about folk, I really do.
marty
I commented about the game in another thread. Not entirely sure how I am going to react as the game unfolds. One thing for sure, I'd like to see Barrowman get a goal. Jealous of both sets of fans!   Bingo, You got a bet on Barrowman? Or is it just some manlove? East_Stand_Al
Has to be a United win for me, I think they'll win within regulation time. 3-1 Â And if we can have a McLaren 1 2 on the GP tomorrow then a good weekend all round for me. maxywell
Up until today I was adament that I was split between wanting the underdogs to win, or wanting United to do us a favour. But today I've realised I couldn't give a toss about County. Motherwell playing in Europe vastly outweighs a First Division team I don't support winning a major trophy.  UNITED! UNITED! UNITED!   spot on although tbh even if it had no effect on motherwell i'd rather utd won.it would hardly do the co-eff any good with ross co getting pumped 10-0 by juve. Â Doesn't matter if you're humped 10-0 or 1-0. Neither winner is going to add to the European Co-Eff, although they'll both take off it. Lobey_Dosser
Glad I tuned into the BBC coverage early doors. You could never tire of seeing the 91 highlights. Â Will we ever experience the likes again?
underboyleheating
Will we ever experience the likes again? I sure hope so as it’s a great day out. Dundee United fans have been spoilt over the years as they have been in a few Finals since the 70’s.

maxywell
we had the LC final v rangers  tbh i prefer non OF finals as a spectacle, always seems to be a better atmosphere and expectation from the fans rather than hope.

Yir Elder
Normally I'd be looking for a great game without caring who won, but not today!! Whilst it would be nice for Ross County to win, United are the better side and have had a great season, so they deserve some success. Â United are not a side I hate, compared to the bigots and the Embra duo. Today I hope to like them even more! Â Not half jealous of the fans today! Â 2-0 United and its Europe here we come! el-pidge
Definitely want a United win today, but ive got my money on County so I wont be too disappointed either way. Â Can't help feeling jealous of both teams though, I'm dying to watch motherwell in the scottish cup final and against a non OF team. Ive experienced just about everything else I dare dream about as a well fan. Dream come true would be Motherwell V Aberdeen in the SC final next year... even at the expense of a poor domestic season. DEWELL
Cant understand the anti Utd sentiment on here. Remember how marvellous their fans were at the O'Donnell tragedy and even said that our fans were welcome in THEIR end at the next game at Tannadice. I've got them on ma coupon. I've bet a guy a tenner in ma work and ma team makes europe if they win CMON DUNDEE MOTHERWELL UNITED!!!
samson1886
With a heavy heart I'm hoping for a Dundee United win. Why, oh why, we couldn't have beaten Hibs 7-6 and enjoyed a Ross County victory. 2-1 United after extra time. Â Â Why oh why couldnt we be awarded a perfectly good goal against rangers? Motherwell v United games never seem to fail to entertain (in recent years particularly). Â I certainly dont like united but there is no good reason for ill feeling towards them. First time I ever saw motherwell play was against them. Its always been a special fixture for me. Probably all stems from beating them in 91. Very healthy competition. AllyMax
Want a United win (obviously) for the trip to europe, but have stuck £5 on Ross County to win and £2 on Ross County to win 2-1, so if we don't get to europe, I can get pissed. Job's a good 'un.

DC'd
It was Swanson, and a greedy wee c**t for not squaring it. Gloryhunting, wanting the limelight to himself.
