robbie
Thanks for the 1.st match.....the draw was a correct "image" of the match with many AaFK chances in the second half. BTW: Your supporters were very quiet today.....tired ?
Yir Elder
Would've taken the away goal and a draw beforehand, but to concede right at the end is still a sair yin. Here's hoping it proves immaterial and we can win the tie outright next week. Also hoping that Sutton and Forbes are okay, as both were subbed at half time presumably due to injury. Ya Bezzer!
Typical Motherwell! Did anyone think we would hold out for a win? Still, a good result and if we fail to get through it will because of the home leg, not the away one.
Brazilian
Excellent result away from home with them flying in the league and only our third competitive game proved the bookies wrong that doesn't happen often next week will be well cagey unless they score early then it'll be a spectacle Note to Craig and Archie work on ball retention
wishaestevie
I would love to see some highlights but it sounds as though we are better than them. Liked the positive subs after half time. Broonie must have been confident. Game on and big crowd at Fir Park next week. Cannae wait

Welldaft Mk1
A sore one right enough... but Had we been losing 1-0 and equalised at the death to make it 1-1 then we would have been delirious, yet the score would still be 1-1. Much better than 0-0. Only downer is a draw would have taken us through next week at 1-0. Still we are at home and hopefully the fans can COME OUT in godd number to cheer the boys on. postiejim
Disappointed to lose a late goal but got to be happy with 1-1 ,sets up the tie nicely for next week ,big home crowd to cheer on the team, nobody to blame but ourselves if we cant do it. Finlay
does not change much to be honest. we have an away goal. had it been 1 nil, we still would have only needed a nil nil, much like now if you know what i mean. If they scored though we would still be in it. Now we would be going out. We can convince ourselves it hasn't changed the game next week much but the reality is it has. ABR
Got to take that result as a guid yin, were no losing going 3-0 into our home tie and we have an away goal.

Finlay
Got that awkward sick feeling you get in the pit of your stomach right after you've taken a boot to the bawz. I'd imagine Stevie Saunders feels a helluva lot worse.

Motherwell89
Much better than 0-0. Only downer is a draw would have taken us through next week at 1-0. 0-0 draw next week takes us through but think we will be better at home.
Steve Diggle
Overall it's a great result. I think most of us get that feeling that when they sneak a last minute penalty the old 'glorious failure' script is playing out. However if we remain strong and positive next week and manage to punish them on the break - we're in line for a great tie in the next round. We can do it - no probs
Rudolf&Santa
Congratulations on progress in the European League. Since an away conts as two, you actually won 2-1 today. 1-1 or 0-1 makes no difference really...AaFK would have to win the away match on both results to progress. And when we never have won on nature grass pitches this year, i can already now gratz you on the victory. Was nice having you here on visit
star sail
Great result and possibly Motherwells best result in Europe to date. Circumstances of their goal was disappointing but as many have said would have taken the result before the game. Away goal is so important. Lobey_Dosser
It's going to be a tense affair next week. Delighted with the away goal but that injury time pen is going to give them a massive boost. If we happen to lose a goal at FP when the game is in the balance then it is advantage to the Norwegians. Hopefully though we are capable of dealing with the pressue and have a right good go at them. I still have no idea how good they are. Will be interesting to hear the thoughts of those who travelled. Hopefully Sutton & Forbes are ok.
siebsbarmyarmy
Watched the 2nd half in The PUB, thought we defended really well and from what I saw without the benefit of a replay it wasnt a penalty. Referee had a complete fucking shicker tho, so many really really petty decisions against Motherwell and got a couple of big ones badly wrong, Murphy hauled down in the 2nd half after beating the defender and the penalty. IMO Murphy, Saunders, Reynolds and Hately all played very well. Humphrey had a couple of great opportunites to get to the bye line and cut back every time onto his right peg and lost possesion. Big Randy in goals looked tremendous.
Cakes
I think that it's commendable that 8450 turned up for what is hardly a glamour tie and I'd like to give them all a virtual pat on the head and say "Well done, very well done, good for you".
