mcguru
Remember there are some known things that are knowingly unknown......their plastic pitch. OK a pitch is a pitch but they do take getting used to in a 1-off senior match. Score draw will not be a bad result.

Jimmo
Motherwell89 mate, your overconfidence is cringeworthy. Totally agree, setting yerself up for a fall mate. How can you be so confident of a win over a team we know so little about (apart from the fact they have the tallest registered outfield professional footballer in the world)?? Steve Diggle
I thought I'd post some of these images so that some of you over confident fudholes can cut and paste quickly if it all goes wrong on Thursday!

Steve Diggle
It's not really - because if we end up winning then you don't really end up looking like a prize pilchard.
Lobey_Dosser
Nothing would be wrong with a 2-1 away defeat in Europe. Far more realistic than your gayness.
Motherwell89
Than winning a game against a club who are 1. Smaller than us. 2. First European Game. 3. Have less attacking Options than ourselves, having only one Striker(he may be the size of two of our on top of each other however.) But hes not really rated, hes seen to be pretty shite unless in the air. 4. Lacking any real quality or creativity. 5. Best player is a goal Keeper! Worst case it should be 0-

Worst case it should be 0-0 I think a lot of your list above is based on assumptions. You're certainly not gaining yourself any friends with your confidence/arrogance. For you to say they have less attacking options than us can you please tell us all our list of viable attacking options? I think they are a decent team that know how they play and will stick to it and having your goalkeeper as your best player can change the result of games. DC'd
Than winning a game against a club who are 1. Smaller than us. Average crowd is bigger than ours, capacity wise it's comparable. Population wise of both towns is also comparable. Success wise - they have won more trophies in the last generation than we have 2. First European Game. We have hardly been blessed with European Games ourselves, and are hardly a European superpower - we are extremely inexperienced at this level as well. 3. Have less attacking Options than ourselves, having only one Striker(he may be the size of two of our on top of each other however.) But hes not really rated, hes seen to be pretty shite unless in the air. We have two recognised strikers that have actually started more than 5 games in there career, one of which is now playing LW and the other being very hot and cold. And well Spain did alright with only one real forward? Kenny Deuchar is regarded as shite by most on here (and rightfully so), however, at times last season we made him look like Drogba - when up against Craigan and Reynolds. So, we struggle against height - whether he is technically capable or not. 4. Lacking any real quality or creativity. Aren't we? We are filled with defensive midfielders in key areas. Bar perhaps Forbes when he is playing well, we dont have a player from the midfield (that is likely to start the match) that can create much - on a regular basis. If anything our most creative player is our LB, and being away from home, is unlikely to venture too far forward - that often. 5. Best player is a goal Keeper! Many would argue that our best player last season was Ruddy and with that logic that we must have been pish as well? So that not only means we will struggle to score against them, but the emphasis now is not conceding as scoring ourselves will prove to be far more difficult. Daggad
Ha ha it is just great that the lad has confidence in your team ! The game is neither lost or won by the arguments in here anyhow. But getting the heat up before the game is just the thing we need before our thrusted men attack their tasks on thursday. (am I doing something wrong with the "h" here...I get red lines below the words ! ) Friday will give us some answers... Let me put some gasoline on the fire: How many players with international games for their country do MFC have ? We have: Demar Phillips - Jamaica Jonathan Parr - Norway Pablo Herrera - Costa Rica Michael Barrantes - Costa Rica (will not play MFC) Enar Jaager - Estland Ville Jalasto - Finland Johan Arneng - Sweden NOT counting U21 and below.. Motherwell89
Support, History, Achievements etc makes us bigger! Should never assume anything in football. Not assuming anything, its just fact! We always play the underdog.. so it looks better if we lose! For once maybe ditch the unsure, negative safety first approach. Especially for this game as being direct and attacking is one sure way to win it, sitting back just invites them into playing balls long balls to their only attacking option in the box. For once lets go into a game with the attitude WE CAN WIN. - 2/3of our team are under 21 and mostly Scottish/English making it very hard for them to be in the national teams when their is no exactly a shortage of English or Scottish national players

We have Stephen Craigan in defence who has a great number of caps for Northern Ireland and has kept the likes or Torres and Rooney in his back pocket previously Steven Hammell - capped by Scotland. A fair number of U21 caps throughout the team aswell.
