firparker
If (fingers crossed) we do go through tonight, and draw say Man City or Liverpool should we play tie at Hampden?
Lobey_Dosser
Nah, now wheesht. Lets focus on the job in hand.
Shaka
stupidest thing ive ever heard, no chance. Im not even sure we`d fill Fir Park so why move to a ground 4 times bigger?!
underboyleheating
No chance, a three quarters empty Hampden or a full Fir Park, you decide.
Cakes
No. Barring extreme circumstances (like the pitch being in the process of being re-layed), home games should be played at Fir Park.
BigColin08
Id rather play at Fir Park than any other ground. Better atmosphere, BETTER PUBS and OUR HOME GROUND. Lets just concentrate on this match first. CMON THE WELL
delboy
no.
numpty
Nope. Why give them the advantage before we'd even kicked off?
Jimmo
A stupid question really. Would be great to see Fir Park full. Meantime worry about tonights opposition and hope we step upto the plate.
wellfan09
shut the fuck up :L, im sure hampden would be packed with the 40 odd/going on 50 thousand motherwell fans you just see strollin about... tit
firparker
10,000 true well fans ? 5,000 pseudo well fans ? 5,000 + big game neutrals ? 10,000 english fans  and language uncalled for, just sparking debate, is that not what a forum is for?
Wellfan1984
I hate it when it happens because it takes away the "small" team's only advantage, albeit a small advantage. Any seeded team in the Europa League would pound us on a pitch the size of Hampden.

underboyleheating
10,000 true well fans ?5,000 pseudo well fans ? 5,000 + big game neutrals ? 10,000 english fans I would say most of these figures are unrealistic. You would maybe attract the odd neutral fan but 5,000 + just seems crazy. 10,000 English fans? Sadly Motherwell is not that a big draw and you would be very lucky to get 2,000. Â 5,000 pseudo Well fans? They would be happy just to watch it on the telly. Â 10,000 true well fans? Just stick them in Fir Park and create a great Euro atmosphere
firparker
pseudo well fan = follows one half of OF and motherwell (when big occasion for us occurs) you know who they are, if you don't you will see them at semi's and the last 2 finals we were at. wellfan09
no english team are gona bring 10,000 fans to a europa league playoff match v motherwell, and also with those figures, that would be a total of 30,000 so ther would still be 22,000 empty seats? sounds like a great atmosphere that does
siebsbarmyarmy
No chance. Â Fir Park is where its at. Sell out similar to the Nancy game against Man City or Liverpool and get down and at them. Play it at Hampden and it loses the special feel to me. Its not a scottish cup semi or final, we want this game played at our stadium.

firparker
a half full hampden is twice a full fir park, finance being all important ( all supposition of course)
numpty
a half full hampden is twice a full fir park, finance being all important ( all supposition of course) And how much extra do you think it would it cost us to hire and police Hampden, compared to Fir Park? patons02
Plus stewarding aswell since G4S cover Hampden.
wellfan09
99% of the people on here would rather have a full, 12/13 thousand fir park than a half empty, 30,000 hampden mate ...
