David
I thought this thread would be a good attempt at putting the Hibs game (and Mark Reynolds performance) to bed. We come into it three days after our game with Odense, and as much as i'd like to say an away game with Killie will result in three points i'm going to have to play it conservative here and opt for a score draw. They looked not too bad against Rangers at the weekend, even though I only saw the highlights on the BBC site, plus the game on Thursday and the travel will play some part in how we get on at the weekend. I personally wouldn't change the team that played Hibs on Sunday, unless we get an injury in Denmark of course. Thoughts? Team changes etc? steelboy
is this another crappy 12 o'clock kick off? 3 o'clock. same team unless something drastic happens in denmark. hopefully this time we'll take our chances when we're on top. Lobey_Dosser
I imagine there will be changes on the back of the trip to Denmark. Intrigued to see how we cope with an SPL away day so soon after a European adventure. I imagine Killie will fancy their chances given that they will have a full week of preperation for the game. milo
Have to take a point at least from this really or we could start to panic about where the first points are going to come from! Killie apparently did quite well at Ibrox but that can't concern us.
Yir Elder
Difficult to really predict anything about this game at this stage. It could all change depending on the result/performance in Denmark and of course the injury/fitness situation. As regards making changes to the team, if we get through to the group stages we will HAVE to sign a couple more players, as CB will have to consider squad rotation to keep everyone fresh and interested, not to mention keeping us in a decent SPL position. That's for another day though, Killie away could turn out to be any score, but right now I'd probably accept a draw.
Stuarty
First time driving down to Killie, what are the best streets to be parked about?
Andy_P
First time driving down to Killie, what are the best streets to be parked about? Quite a lot of options for parking if you are down sharp enough. Close by there's Dundonald Road. It gets coned off close to the junction of South Hamilton Street and Dundonald Road but if you keep heading towards the town centre you should be all right. Again if you head along Dundonald Road theres a wee side street that you can nick into and get parked on and can then walk through to come out close to Rugby Road where our end is. On Portland Road there's a wee car park between the town centre and the ground, though you might have to pay to use that and further away again you've got both a Morrisons and Tesco if you want to take the chance in there. well_nuts
dont park in tesco you only have a hour and a half before you get a ticket now as it is all done by cameras and not a guy now.
gdalli10
gotta be in hamilton at 6 on sunday night. what are the odds of me making it back in time bearing in mind my cars a banger that struggles up hills? as for the game, Killie don't have any real firepower and we will be tired after our euro game. 1-0 either way

Jimmo
Randolph Saunders Crags Reynolds Dry Hump Hateley Lasley Hammell Murphy Sutton Blackman I like the look of that team, I think we should try playing with 3 at the back cause Saunders is primarily a centre half and i think Hammell would be more than happy at left mid/wing. Nah would have Jenno it my team anyday of the week. Depends how tired the lads are after Thursday and any knocks/niggles etc but I would probably go with the same team as Sunday and change it about a wee bit earlier to keep the boys fresh. Maybe even drop Lasley and put in Forbes in his place, felt we were missing the killer ball from Centre mid and Forbes can play infront of Hately and Jenno something like this. ---------------Randolph---------------- Saunders Craigan Reynolds Hammell ----------Hately-----Jennings----------- Humphrey------Forbes---------Murphy ---------------Sutton---------------- Means we have a creative spark from Forbes to find Humph and Murphy out wide more. Alternatively if Hately is happy at Rightback drop Saunders and put Lasley in Centre mid.
Tassinari
I'd go ---------------Randolph---------------- Saunders Craigan Reynolds Hammell ----------Hately-----Jennings----------- Humphrey------------------------Forbes -----------------Murphy------------------ ---------------Blackman-----------------

siebsbarmyarmy
I dont get the Forbes on the left hand side of midfield. He has clearly shown that he doesnt play well out on the wing. Too much tracking up and down and he doesnt have the engine for it. Put the boy in the centre in a more protected position and I'm sure we would see the benefits. He can put the ball on a tea plate and has the abilty to split defences with passes for Murphy and The Hump to run onto. In the centre he would be a luxury we could afford well marshalled by Jenno/Lasley/Hately with the ability to change or win games. Very similar to what Celtic had with Moravcik when he was there. Dont get me wrong am not comparin the boy to him but in the style of play they had wheh he was there. The first half against Hibs was crying out for someone to split there defence with passes down the flank, too many in my opinion went short or out the park causing Murphy and Humhrey to cut back. Lobey_Dosser
In truth I couldn't give a flying fuck about the game on Sunday now. Need to rest a good few players that started last night. Certainly leave Murphy and Humphrey on the bench. I'd be tempted to play Jennings in a more advanced midfield role and try out someone else in the deeper role. Bring in the likes of Fitzpatrick, Forbes, Blackman and Page. Main thing is to come through the game injury free.

GazzyB
Agree with LD, I'd start Casagolda, Blackman, Forbes, Page, Hutchy, Fizzy etc, getting through the game injury free is our concern!
Onthefringes
Please no three at back has never worked for Motherwell stick to Fabios favoured 4 4 2 Arguably one of the best defences I've seen was the three at the back no? gdalli10
starting team yesterday Randolph Saunders Crags Reynolds Hammell Hump Hateley Lasley Jennings Sutton Murphy If We are resting players then this is possibly our stongest back up 11 including jennings (suspended) Hollis Charalambous Hutchinson Page Halsman Forbes Fitzpatrick Jennings Blackman Casagolda McHugh looks reasonably strong team to me.
