Motherwell Football Club
Some of the heats down south have six teams in two groups of three, if its that popular why not do that? Surely that makes sense financially, More teams = more fans.

weeyin
Very true.Besides, they put the cameras on us turning our backs. If it was a problem then tey wouldn't have wanted to show it on TV surely? The sponsors don't control the TV shots. However, if I was a sponsor, I wouldn't be too pleased if the spectators were seen to be dissing my event. Remember, from their perspective, it's all about promoting their product in as positive a light as possible. Of course, it might be nothing to do with the decision. Maybe they do really want to give other teams a chance.
Sarah
Ah right I see. As for them giving other teams a chance - I can understand where they're coming from, but I find it hard to believe that any other team will have as lively and vocal a support as ours. Doubt that they'd bring as many fans either but you never know I suppose, We'll find out the following year if we're missed.
