weesacs
I know we have a game before hand............but work commitments mean I have to plan ahead. What is the best way to go taking into account rush hour traffic and the road works on the M80? do you go M74/M73/M80 through the roadworks? or do you bite the bullet and go M8/M90?? or even over the Kincardine bridge??? any help would be much appreciated
biggayal0
get a loan of the popemobile, he'll be finished with it by then, they will shut all the roads for you and the police will give you an escort all the way there. Be there in plenty of time. all you have to do is sit in the back and wave a bit to anyone you pass.
something else
The m80 is bad enough at the best of times so i'll be avoiding it on tuesday. I'm going to go m8 and Forth road bridge.
brisbaneMFC
the Fife route into Dundee is fairly quick, come down that way a bit and it always seems a bit more reasonable than the M80. £15 a ticket folks. http://www.brechincity.com/bcfc/servlet/BC...&category=
Guest
M80 is a bit grim just now, theres roadworks pretty much from Glasgow to Denny. Forth Road bridge is probably the most sensible to Dundee, then its a straight shot up to Brechin.
Kmcalpin
Probably your best bet is to go via the Forth Road Bridge. At Dunfermline you then have a choice of either continuing up the M90 and then taking the A90 from Perth to Dundee or going via the A92 through Fife to the Tay Road Bridge. Guest
I'd recommend avoiding going through fife and the tay road bridge. You get stuck behind something between Glenrothes and Dundee and you can be there for ages. Forth Road Bridge - Perth is a much better road. Plus, when you get to Dundee from Perth, you just continue up the Kingsway rather than having to come through traffic lights etc. in town from the Tay Road Bridge. Special aka
It'll be up over the Lecht, across Deeside, down thru Glen Dye to Fettercairn then onto the A90 and the short jaunt south to Brechin for me .............. provided I get away from work on time. ericdinosaur
if you know how to get through Perth, then the A94 towards Forfar and then join A90 is quicker

Davie boy
Route to the ground........ From the North- On the A90, take 1st Brechin turn off (B966) Travel through Trinity, then when entering Brechin, ground sits on left hand side. From the South- Same route, except take SECOND Brechin turn off (Again, the B966)
