Edradour
My grandfather was a former player for Motherwell and I've been informed his name appears on a list of former players 'somewhere' online. So far i've not been able to locate this list. With some help from fatcalf, he has confirmed he played about 22 games for the club season 1908/1909. His name was Archibald Buttery, but was known as Baaldy Buttery. If anybody could come up with any information about him, that would be great. I could never find any record of him. glad to see it's accurate. Now, I know it was a while ago, but does anyone have any photos of him in the strip? mosquito
You mightfind something in old newspapers held in Motherwell Library reference section - match reports or team photos. The staff would guide you through, they are always very helpful.
