Frazzie
That draw dashes our chances for me. While I don't think we'll definitely lose to Utd, it means we'll probably have to beat both the Old Firm at Hampden to win the Cup, which I think is almost certainly not going to happen. Even beating Utd, Aberdeen and one of the Old Firm is unlikely. Ho hum.

Guest 'Flow
United at home twice in three/four days
Auldyin
I hope that it is a very strong referee. As after watching that game last night, United tend to throw their weight about especially Goodwillie and he was quite happy obstructing the goalkeeper at corners. We don't seem to have heavy built players.
Welldaft Mk1
TBH you cannot argue with a home tie avoiding the old firm in a cup 1/4 final. Anything else would be plain greedy
something else
Not the draw i would have picked but a suppose its winnable.
milo
United at home twice in three/four days Baws. I hate double headers as we tend to lose both of them!! Cards on the table, we will this time also.
underboyleheating
United at home twice in three/four days Just one of the many reasons why players leave the top flight in Scotland for another league, as you could easily end up playing the same team again and again. johnstone
After watching Dundee Utd last night I can confirm I am happy with this draw. They seem to be pretty shaky at the back since Webster has gone. Also that boy Shala is mince.

Finlay
Not the best draw but avoiding the Old Firm was the main priority. Aberdeen are too jammy. Raith then Falkirk to get to the Semi-Finals. Hope they have a collapse like Hibs did in the Scottish Cup last year.
Kmcalpin
I hope that it is a very strong referee. As after watching that game last night, United tend to throw their weight about especially Goodwillie and he was quite happy obstructing the goalkeeper at corners. You can stake your mortgage on that. Win, lose or draw they're a helluva tough team and take no prisoners. They'll probably view the league game days beforehand as the ideal opportunity to rough us up.
Ya Bezzer!
At this stage in a cup competition any home tie is a good one and we avoided the OF. Dundee Utd aren't the team they were last season and as someone else pointed out Webster is a huge lose for them. Could go either way but this in my opinion is a decent draw. casey
Are season tickets valid? Yes, should be. Ticket at back says first home domestic cup tie.
maxywell
Yes, should be. Ticket at back says first home domestic cup tie. good that we get to use it this season. good draw imo, could be a decent game with a reasonable chance.imo depends how the 1st league game goes cause rarely in these double headers does 1 team win both. underboyleheating
depends how the 1st league game goes cause rarely in these double headers does 1 team win both. I would rather win the league game as the the Diddy Cup has no Euro entry. As I have said before, our league is far too small. This will always increase the odds of two SPL clubs meeting in the cup before or after a league match. At least it’s a home tie.
