Finlay
The reason why I'd always go with a First DIvision team. Pretty sure we played St Mirren three times in a couple of weeks due to Cup, league, then a Cup Replay. Didn't St Mirren play Rangers 5 times last season and that was after being seprated in the split as well.
thewhitepele
United at home twice in three/four days When we get these double headers it always brings back memories of 1991,when we played Celtic three times in nine days all in Glasgow, the two cup games and a league game at Parkhead,2 wins and a draw, they really were our bitches back then. steelboy
the one advantage of the double header is we've got 180 minutes minimum to get david goodwillie sent off. he's an absolute spunkrag of a boy and will surely rise to the bait if he gets the sustained broadfoot treatment. Werent laughin a few days later! Sure I recall the league game being the first of the 3 games. Chat on the bus was which one would you rather win, resounding thumbs up for the Cup game until after we won then it changed to "Ach we'll just need tae beat them twice"
