Steve Diggle
Spoke briefly to Stevie at a Sportsmans Dinner earlier. He's looking OK but obviously has been impacted by the wee scare in the US and I believe his missus is doing all the drivin etc. Anyway it was a priviledge to meet the big man again and show him the OSB Kid Kirk cartoon (which I had a photo of on ma phone) Looks like he has a wee bit to go - but looks to be on the way to recovery. Take Care Stevie

numpty
Good news. Always takes a good couple of months to recover from that sort of procedure, so sounds like he's pretty much on track so far.
Megastar
He was at the game on Tuesday and again today, he is looking a bit pale but is on the mend, he had a massive scare so it is going to take time before he is back to normal. Yetserday wasn't exactly going to help, hope he's back to full health soon.

Ian-in-Oz
Seems like the big man gave himself a real scare. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/...86908-22722684/
Mad Dog
Glad to hear that he's okay. Makes you wonder what it's all about though eh. Why are fit and healthy young men dying so often these days? The holiday may have been 'illfated' but he obviously got top specialist treatment in america rather than
delboy
am I the only one who take offence to the 'Motherwell's Scottish Cup curse' tag?
Frazzie
I can understand why you would, but it does seem a tad mental that four guys from the same team have died as young men. If you look at the rest of the SPL from early to mid nineties, I doubt if there's been another four deaths between all the teams. I don't like it, but 'curse' seems almost justified. Spiderpig
I dont agree with the "curse" tag but it is unusual for 4 players in the same team to have died at a young age, the 91 cup final team never played together again, as Boyd went to Chelsea before the start of the next season. Another squad member Colin "Psycho" O'Neil had to retire early from football due to Injury so you can see why the Curse label is used. This might be a job for Mulder and Scully
