madwullie
Thing is back in those days there wasn't the access to football that there is now. Nowadays, a casual football fan will get their fix from turning on the telly any day of the week, more often than not seeing the "best" teams in the world. There isn't any need to go along to your local club on a Saturday in order to see your weekly game of football unless you're a hardcore supporter. This is the main reason attendances are down, and league reconstruction or a sectional mickey mouse tournament aren't going to change this. Like I've already said, teams today are operating in a different world.

A more competive league might encourage a better TV deal which could even encourage clubs to introduce lower ticket prices. Sounds ridiculous but it has happened in other countries! And introduce safe standing areas too.

Plenty left though so if you want one I'll be in the Cooper pre-match but let me know so's I'm not carrying about any for nothing.

Yep, Bandoni's still sell them along with North Motherwell Post Office. I can drop more off if they're sold out so ask them.
Brazilian
By the way, there are fewer than 6,000 in St Mirren Park More a general football concern but connected directly to MFC as the drop in attendances continues across the SPL Scottish football is fine the way it is ? that hat
Thought yeterday's crowd at Inverness was poor until I saw the figures for St Johnstone, Hamilton, Falkirk and Dundee. Looks like the Scottish public is getting less enamoured by the annual competition to finish third in Scotland. Meanwhile the football authorities are willing to do nothing about it fearful of upsetting the bigot brothers.
