carlukemurray
Gahagan is a good shout for a mention. And Colin O'Neil - why was he not in our list?!

Mad Dog
Kirk and Arnott, top of the list for me. Probably Maxwell, Griffin and Angus as the other three but how about them v a 2nd V of Dykstra, Cusack, O'Neil, Boyd and Nijholt in the 5-a-sides? Shallow Dave
Some interesting thoughts. My five would be Simo Buff Mio McKinnon Russell/Coops Also, surprised how few of the 1991 Cup Winning side appear. And, although I may have scanned through the pages quickly, no Lambert? Maybe that type of player- Makelele, Roy Keane, Steve McMahon who does the unglamorous very well, twice a week.....? Some interesting views nonetheless..... Agree about Lambert. He was a brilliant player for us- must have covered every blade of grass in every game; totally different to the role at Dortmund and Celtic

Fi2810
I also couldn't stick to 5 and I couldn't put them in order:- Dougie Arnott Stevie Kirk Phil O'Donnell Ally Maxwell (for his performance in the 1991 final when he was injured) Davie Cooper Scott Leitch David Clarkson Joe Wark and Willie Pettigrew (when I was a kid) My faves in the current team are Stephen Craigan, Keith Lasley, Stevie Hammell and Mark Reynolds. MelvinBragg
Funny how many different top fives I've read. Everyone has their own favourites for their own reasons. For me (and I have to say, I found it very easy until I realised I had missed out Bobby Russell) it's.. Nijholt Dykstra McFadden Clarkson Valakari with The Shimmy King being the only guy even coming close...
