Well_Jaggy
the official site is taking a hammering. Flow really should look into getting a bigger pipe, or increase the pool on the SQL box.
underboyleheating
on twitter. Today's game with Hearts has been called off due to the adverse weather making surrounding roads and car parks hazardous.
Guest 'Flow
The game is, indeed, off. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the pitch though - it is totally playable. However, most of Motherwell and the surrounding area is a foot deep in snow. After consultation with Strathclyde Police, and with no expected improvement in the weather, the match has been cancelled. Neil
They're wrong, pitch is clear and has been cleared 3 times. Surrounding roads are to blame.

Tamy
From the offical Site: Motherwell Football Club can tonight confirm that the Portuguese officials, scheduled to take charge of our game on Sunday, have indeed gone home. Hääää??? No Ref for the Game or I got that wrong?
Guest 'Flow
The groundstaff have been in since 3am (I myself have been in since 7am)... Pitch is totally fine and can be brushed in 25mins... However, the local roads (and the M8 I hear) being completely no-go, and in consultation with the Police, the game has been called off. Tamy
Now its offical on BBC Site: The Scottish Premier League match at Fir Park has been postponed due to the freezing weather.
underboyleheating
Pitch is totally fine and can be brushed in 25mins... Will Sky be informed of the real reason. Or will they choose to ignore it as the frozen pitch angle is a better news story. It’s a conspiracy, I tell you!
Andy_P
Two threads both about the postponement so have merged into the one. We can do a fresh 'fishel game thread when we know what's what.

Well73
Good effort from the club I'm sure the right call has been made. I'm not far away and cant get oot my street so spot on in my book. Shame I was looking forward to my Chapmans today
Ya Bezzer!
Just got up 5 minutes ago, looked out the window and knew there was no way the game would be on. I live 5 minutes walk from Fir Park and it is currently snowing heavily with what looks like a good couple of inches of snow lying on the ground. There is no way the Police would have allowed this game to go on.
