Richie
I saw an interview where he said he was offered a contract but refused it as it wasn't acceptable... I would get that sent straight to Super Scoreboard FAO Derek Johnstone.
jim mccann
What is they say about a contract... An agreement between two parties. Well according to Mr. Brown, he and his colleague Mr. Knox had mutually agreed to work together with MFC "until the end of the next season". So there is a verbal agreement which is binding. numpty
That may have been the verbal agreement that had been reached at the time, way back in February. But unfortunately we have no idea what subsequent verbal agreements may have reached that might supercede that one.
GraniteCityMFC
I couldn't be bothered reading all of the Evening Express spread but one quote attibuted to Brown was that he had a verbal agreement (seemed to have a lot of these!) with Motherwell that if he left or was sacked there would be no compensation due. Well_Jaggy
he may have said no compo was due, but that still doesn't give the sheep the right to Tap up our management team.
cooper_no1
he may have said no compo was due, but that still doesn't give the sheep the right to Tap up our management team. It's two totally different situations though, and the 'sheep' didn't....they did absolutely NOTHING wrong....the laws of the SPL are fucked up,that's the problem, they totally conflict each other. But aye....c***s
Edradour
So there is a verbal agreement which is binding. You know what they say about verbal agreements, they're not worth the paper they're written on.
