kmmfc
See, I would say there is more chance of Sutton going to Rangers than Healy joining Motherwell. Ok, both are ridiculous
Tartan Copper 2
Like Sutton though i do, he is not clinical enough (in goal scoring terms) to go much higher than he is playing at the mo... Rangers... to bigger step for him (presently)
Finlay
Ok, both are ridiculous I'd tend to agree.
Guest
Miller is well ot of the picture at Boro, might be an option for a loan. At Notts County isn't he on loan?

Sutton if he was to join Rangers would be there to hold up the ball and be foil for the likes of Naismith, Lafferty, Weiss, Jelavic and to knock back for McCulloch. John Sutton would walk into that Rangers team (if Miller leaves), and like his brother before him if needed could probably play at Centre Back, going on his performance against Rangers last season at Fir Park! Not sure if Bop is being serious, but I agree with his post.

Special aka
Know what ? I'm so disillusioned with events in recent weeks that I don't really care any more ............... and I aint ever felt at such a low ebb before, (and that includes relegations, 8-0 6-0 defeats, cup-semi disappointments, etc.,). My faith is being eaten away and there's nowt I can do about it. Maybe things will sort themselves out, maybe they wont, and if John Sutton ends up at Ibrox then good luck to him. Martin
Should defo take the money if it's offered! By all means he does a job for us, but has never been more than a sort of reliable grafter to me. Never seemed much to get excited about. Rammer
Bite their hand off for £200K! Total non-story in my humble opinion though.

Spot on pie , its almost like our club is being pillaged in front of us ,and were powerless to do anything.
Richie
Like Sutton but again would bite your hand off for £200k. We have seen in the las few seasons that loan strikers can ceasily come in and do a job.
Leroy Trusco
Ridiculous thread. Rankers ain't got 200k and the Miller money will go straight into the Lloyds "no lending" fund
Busta Nut
John Sutton is some one we cannot replace though

Pepper
Would be gutted to see the big man go. Think he has been great for us over the past few years. Definitely an unsung hero imo.
DEWELL
Have to say i'd take £200grand for Sutton. He's been a good player for us and with 6 months left on his contract it's a good bit of business.

Not sure if Bop is being serious, but I agree with his post. My point would be that Rangers would need a goal scorer not a (Beattie) Type player, you lose a goal scorer you want one in return. Sutton good player but not top class.

the fox
Im not bothered one way or another cos the way John Boyle is running the club is killing it if they got £200 000 it would go straight in his pocket so not interested will see this season out and thats it for me wont be back. Kmcalpin
the way John Boyle is running the club is killing it if they got £200 000 it would go straight in his pocket. What makes you think that? Have you seen last year's accounts? If so, whats your take on them?

Sutton good player but not top class. In the Rangers team he would get a lot more chances, so i think he would score a few goals, not as many as Miller but he would do well. His only problem is that he is as slow as a week in the jail
Tamwell
In the Rangers team he would get a lot more chances not from sitting on the bench he wouldn't.
