joewarkfanclub
Surprised no one has brought this up but I have seen this 4/5 times now on BBC Alba and it still looks to me as if Hately headers it away from Saunders hand! Am I going blind? Certainly didn't look deliberate due to the collision so I felt justice was done.
something else
I seen it on tv tonight and it was certainly a strange decision to give a penalty. Then again the ref made a few bad decisions today.
Rickoza
Worst one was calling play back for a free kick when Murphy was clean through.
something else
Worst one was calling play back for a free kick when Murphy was clean through. Or failing to book Iain Murray despite a two footed lunge at Humphrey and an assault on Craigan.
Guest
Some bizarre, bizarre decisions today. That said, the penalty probably suited us in the end, I assume Zemmama would've buried it the chance if the ref hadn't given the penalty. Rickoza
Probably not. Given their abysmal shooting efforts today, he could've been a yard out in front of goals and still found the corner flag.
Kmcalpin
Another poor refereeing performance today and we were not the beneficiaries. Very pernickety when it suited him. How Ian Murray & Kevin McBride remained on the park is beyond me.
Fal_Dosser
Agree with the previous comments, and as has been said, the standard of referreeing, not to mention the totally inept numpties that get paid for running up and down the line, is going a long way to destroying games - there was one stage when the stand side linesman looked as though he was sending a message by semaphore, as he simply hadn't a clue what decision the ref wanted him to give The one time the ref's incompetance worked for us was the penalty, as the ball fell perfectly for the guy at the back post to get his shot on target (Danny would've saved anyway ) MON RA DOSSERS
muir on tour
Referee wasnt too bad yesterday, but still had a few bad decisions. Not enough bookings for me yesterday. McBride was lucky to stay on the park, Murray shouldve atleast had a yellow, also felt Hutchinson should of had a yellow or possible red, there was a tackle down the east side where he lunged in two footed, (he won the ball) but was still a dangerous tackle. Guy who studded Jones should of got booked also.
East_Stand_Al
Calderwood has questioned whether the ref should've played advantage and not stopped for the penalty and whether Saunders should have been sent off. Desperate acts of a drowning man ?
mfc 58
I don't think anybody listens to calderwood, no even his own players.

that hat
Despite all his moaning about refereeing decisions, Calderwood didn't remind us of the "off-side goal" wrongly disallowed when the teams met in November.
Well-fan
Wasn't much of a protest from Saunders, so I'd assume that it did hit his arm, not sure if he could do much about it though

On that note the shocking decisions in the first game at the 'Arc when Hughes was in charge!
Busta Nut
seen this on the BBC there, Defo penatly, can't think why anyone would think it not to be a penalty. Ref should've played advantage as well

Tweed
Ref should've played advantage as well Maybe. Though Craigan made a good point about if they missed it then get the penalty - that wouldn't happen with a free kick so why should they if Rankin made an arse of it? Yet if they hadn't the ref would have had hell to pay. Really tough call for the ref whether to give penalty or not and I think upwards of 90% of them would have given the penalty.
