Well-fan
What was everyone's first impressions of Jones? Thought he had a good game, linked up with the rest of the team well considering the limited time he's had with them. Threw some good balls in and looked decent with the ball at his feet
prideoflanarkshire
+1 tried a couple of flicks are turns that never really work, however, after being with the club for a couple of days had a really good game, gave us a bit more shape
Rickoza
I'd agree. And I think a few who doubted his signing would do too surely.
siebsbarmyarmy
The balance of the team in the first half was definitely there to see! Glad Jones could provide that! Nice flicks and tricks all around the halfway Line, hopefully see them further forward creating a chance or two! Looks fit as a fiddle for a 34 year old! sydney devine
Have we got him permanently... or is he only on loan from Black Lace?
well_nuts
Just on loan to the end of season
Mad Dog
Strange kind of a loan agreement though because he's out of contract in the summer, so effectively he's already been released and he can stay on at F.P. next season all being 'well. cameltoe
He didn't look out of place at all. Some flicks didn't pay off but was a handful for their right back. When he's up to speed I think he could become a useful addition. Quite nippy for a 34 year old, I don't think any of us expected that. I wonder tho if he is going to be one of those players who never plays the full 90. Looking forward to seeing more from him.

Bop
I was quite impressed, a few decent touches and wasnt afraid to take a man on. I'm sure he'l be able to contribute more and for a full 90 minutes once he gets up to speed.

pretzel
Beat a man then pass the ball which we weren't getting with Gow and maybe Humphrey could learn from. I agree. Hope his experience comes in handy as well. Looking forward to seeing more from him in the coming weeks, hope he stays away from injury. gullane
Too early to say. How much football has he played recently? Let's give the guy a few games before commenting.

stuwell
I don't imagine anybody left the game yesterday with anything but positive thoughts about him. The guy moved well, took on their defence, passed well (at times) and gave 100%. Lets hope he keeps playing that way.
foghorn
Looks like he will fit in well. Good touches and was always looking for the ball, and could forge a good partnership with Hammell. Wanted the ball to feet and knew who was around him. Useful addition , pity about his age

Useful addition , pity about his age Sums it up for me, don't think it was just coincidence with Jones introduction that Hammell turned in a much improved performance. I'm sure a few who know me will be stunned I posted that after the suicidal chat of last week...
