carlukemurray
One game at a time and all that, but we have to be looking at 6 points out of 6 from these two games at the end of February.
milo
Absolutely. Whether we get them or not is another matter.
superwell87
Agreed. However I cannot see us picking up more than 4 points out of those two games to be honest.
gullane
Agreed. However I cannot see us picking up more than 4 points out of those two games to be honest. I can. We may have slipped down a peg or two, but we are still a better side than anything below us in the league.
SCDave
I can. We may have slipped down a peg or two, but we are still a better side than anything below us in the league. We're only where we are due to early form - 1 win in 10 doesn't sit well.. Also, is it coinscidence that've only won 1 league game since CB and AK left? Mitch
Paddy Power still offering us at 150/1 to take the drop.
fizoxy
There are 15 games to go, and there are 3 teams and 14 points between us and bottom place. The three teams above us are only one point ahead, and we're only 8 points behind Kilmarnock in 4th with a game in hand. But no one's talking about that. That because we have won one league game in the last 10 scoring very few goals (Edit 3?). Suggest we are more likely to be heading down than going up based on that trend. Hopefully time will prove me wrong but...............
ONeils40yarder
Talk of relegation is mental, no matter what the bookies are offering it would be a quid down the swanny

Also, is it coinscidence that've only won 1 league game since CB and AK left? No coincidence at all. Can also be attributed to our top scorer losing form and eventually leaving as well as 3 games without a permanent manager.
underboyleheating
Paddy Power still offering us at 150/1 to take the drop. I think I’ll put few pounds on that. You know what they say, every cloud...

Mitch
I remember the last time we thought we were clear of the drop / too good to go down Aye thanks Mr Malpas Nothing is impossible with Motherwell and we were well ahead of the pack under Malpas and got dragged in. The teams below us are bound to go on a run at some point. I don't actually think we will go down but would cushion the blow slightly with a grand in your back pocket! Mitch
We stayed up, and there were 2 teams below us. Yeah but was it not a howler from the Pars keeper (Doris DeVries??) at ICT that kept us up? We are dropping like a whores drawers at present and wouldnt rule out us getting dragged into the fight. milo
Nothing can be ruled out, especially as we are in absolute freefall at the moment, and have been since Brown and Knox left. Every team goes through a bad run at some point that lasts about 5 or 6 games, but this is way beyond what you would normally consider "a bad run". Yabba's Turd
We are not getting pumped though, narrow defeats and luck going against us, under malpas we were shite.
ONeils40yarder
The Malpas season was easily the worst season we have had in recent years, this team aint going the same way as the one under that useless fucker. fizoxy
Fact is, we had enough points to stay up, we just got them earlier in the season. A couple of wins on top of our 14 point cushion will probably keep us up this year as well. That's almost 5 wins assuming we don't pick up any more points. Hamilton and St Mirren have won 6 games combined this season. In addition to Hamilton and St Mirren gaining on us, Hibs, Aberdeen, St J and Inverness would also need to go on good runs. These teams are all going to beat each other, and probably lose to top 4 teams, so we won't plummet to 12th as easy as some people want to think. We put in good performances to beat Hibs and Dundee, and played well against Rangers and Kille. The St J game was close with a dodgy penalty deciding it. So us winning a couple of games and landing in 5th seems to be more feasible to me at the moment.
fatcalf
We're just as likely to go on a good run as fail to win another game all season. Fuxake, get real folks.
nethertonwellfan
If we don't win another game from now until the end of the season we will still not go down. There is no way Hamilton will get 29 points this season.

There is no way Hamilton will get 29 points this season. Don't forget that they will be playing teams around them in the final 5 matches of the season and that gives them the opportunity to make up ground on the teams above them. Accies are murder but they are capable of putting a run together. I probably only feel this way about things because I am pissed off with Scottish Football completely at the moment. I agree with your last statement but if I could get a bet on Accies not getting 25 points I would take it. They are a horrible football team. Lobey_Dosser
There is no chance of relegation. Next season however, I'm quite excited about the prospect of a relegation battle.

Yes, but then equally the teams around us would be dropping points if that happenned.
